Are you energetic, approachable, and love meeting members of the public?
We’re looking for friendly, confident Event Staff to support our promotional activity across Norfolk, especially at Norwich City Football Club and various Norfolk county events. You’ll sell copies of the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News using various incentives, including our well-known “goody bags”, set up branded stands and represent our titles in a professional and engaging manner. Working as part of our wider team, you’ll be supported all the way by our on-site Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
- Attending outdoor events and setting up branded stands and gazebos
- Preparing “goody bags” by inserting newspapers and promotional items
- Selling “goody bags” to the public and encouraging engagement with our brands
- Wearing a branded uniform and maintaining a smart, approachable appearance
- Ensuring event setups are tidy, professional, and public-facing
- Unloading equipment following manual handling guidelines (training provided)
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- You will be confident, vocal, and comfortable engaging with the public
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Have a warm, approachable personality with great communication skills
- Having a willingness to follow briefs and risk assessments
- Be reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
