Job Description:

In this role, you’ll play a central part in shaping the future of the HPE–Nokia partnership – one strategic opportunity at a time.

As the EMEA Sales Lead for Nokia, you will be responsible for driving HPE’s business with one of our largest and most complex global accounts. This requires a deep understanding of both Nokia’s evolving needs and HPE’s strategic priorities, as well as the ability to navigate different routes-to-market (OEM, direct, indirect, joint go-to-market) across the EMEA region.

Working at HPE, you’ll have the resources and support to lead growth in a high-visibility, high-impact account.

In a typical day as EMEA Nokia Sales Lead, you would:

  • Build and execute a structured growth plan to expand HPE’s share across the entire portfolio (compute, storage, networking, services, cloud, and as-a-service models) in alignment with Nokia’s business priorities.

  • Act as the regional orchestrator for the Nokia account, ensuring alignment between global strategy and local execution across EMEA.

  • Establish trusted relationships with Nokia stakeholders at all levels – from technical leads to C-suite – while also maintaining strong connections within HPE (product teams, supply chain, services, finance, and executive leadership).

  • Understand and anticipate Nokia’s market, technology, and operational requirements, and translate them into differentiated HPE solutions.

  • Manage the complexity of a global, multi-BU, multi-region account, ensuring transparency, accountability, and collaboration across the ecosystem.

  • Lead and coordinate complex sales engagements (multi-year programs, joint innovation initiatives, or supply-chain solutions) with focus on deadlines, deliverables, and long-term value creation.

  • Maintain knowledge of competitors and market dynamics to strategically position HPE as a trusted partner in Nokia’s transformation journey.

  • Drive profitable growth by balancing Nokia’s requirements with HPE’s financial goals, ensuring sustainable margin and revenue contribution.

If you are…

  • Experienced in global or regional account management within the IT or telecom industry, ideally with exposure to large multinational customers.

  • Skilled at managing complex accounts with multiple routes-to-market, stakeholders, and business models.

  • Strong in consultative selling, able to link customer strategy with technology solutions.

  • A proven leader in orchestrating cross-functional teams across sales, delivery, services, and partners.

  • Equipped with excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Holding a University or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or equivalent.

  • Ready to thrive in a high-visibility, strategic role with strong impact on both HPE and Nokia’s success.
