About the role
At Finary, we’re on a mission to redefine personal finance. To help us build a world-class workplace, we’re looking for a People Ops & Office Manager who will be the backbone of our internal operations. In this role, you’ll ensure every team member experiences a smooth, efficient, and supportive work environment.
You’ll manage the full employee lifecycle - from onboarding to offboarding, including payroll, equity grants and HR compliance - and drive operational improvements. You’ll also maintain our office operations and help foster a culture of excellence and empathy. This is a high-trust, high-impact role where you’ll work closely with the VP Operations and People team to support Finary’s growth.
You’d be a great fit if you
Have 3+ years of experience in HR, admin, or finance ops roles, preferably in startups or scale-ups
Are obsessively detail-oriented and organized, with no tolerance for errors in contracts, payroll, or documentation
Handle sensitive employee data with absolute discretion and confidentiality
Thrive on execution and reliability - you always hit deadlines and keep processes running like clockwork
Have a solution-oriented attitude and stay calm when juggling competing priorities or deadlines
Have hands-on experience running office operations, including managing suppliers, inventory, and creating a smooth, welcoming environment for employees
Are fluent in French and English and comfortable using tools like Payfit, Alan, Drive, and spreadsheets
Have a “no task is too small” mindset and can switch from data entry to team support without missing a beat
Are a strong communicator who builds trust and keeps things running smoothly across teams and providers

You’re a lone wolf who doesn’t enjoy team collaboration
You prefer routine and stability - this is a fast-moving startup with shifting needs and priorities
