TMC Staffing is seeking Data Entry Clerks to input, update, and verify data in computer systems and databases from various sources, requiring accurate typing, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Key responsibilities include converting information from paper or digital formats into databases, correcting errors, sorting and organizing documents, generating reports, and ensuring data security and confidentiality.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Enter data from physical documents, digital files, or verbal communications into company databases and software.
• : Verify the accuracy and completeness of data, correcting any errors or discrepancies and reporting them as needed.
• Sort, organize, and maintain both digital and physical files and records for easy retrieval and access.
• Maintain and update existing databases and records to keep information current and relevant.
• Assist in generating reports from data and retrieving specific information when requested by management or team members.
• Ensure that sensitive information is kept confidential and secure, often by performing regular backups and adhering to data entry protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in fast and accurate typing, including 10-key typing.
• High level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail to ensure data integrity.
• Skilled in using computers, database software, and proprietary data-entry platforms, such as Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to create and maintain organized systems for documents and data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members to clarify data requirements and ensure consistency.
