We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the successful execution of multiple projects from design through delivery. You’ll collaborate with engineers, customers, and vendors while keeping schedules on track and operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

Project & Engineering Support

  • Coordinate, input, and maintain accurate project information.
  • Support quality assurance reviews, including modifying engineering designs before final release.
  • Provide technical expertise on engineering and operational issues, supporting projects from quote to shipment.
  • Assist with contract and operational document review to ensure alignment with company standards.

Customer & Team Communication

  • Respond to customer emails and phone calls related to installation, troubleshooting, and design issues.
  • Keep internal teams informed on timelines, priorities, and key decisions.
  • Support business and relationship development activities by providing timely and professional communication.

Project Management & Coordination

  • Develop, review, and approve project management documents including scope, costs, schedules, and communications.
  • Monitor changes in scope/schedule and secure Change Authorizations as required.
  • Coordinate with designers, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Oversee and track multiple projects, proactively identifying and resolving potential roadblocks.
  • Ensure all jobs remain on schedule using project job lists and production schedules.

Operational Excellence

  • Aid with shipping details and timelines to ensure timely equipment delivery.
  • Participate in the development of engineering design standards and delivery processes.
  • Step in with operational support when needed to maintain business efficiency.


Skills & Abilities

  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office, project management tools; AutoCAD/SolidWorks a plus).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage planning, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
  • Knowledge of elevator design or willingness to learn.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.


Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of project management experience (manufacturing or construction preferred).
  • 0–4+ years of elevator manufacturing or related industry experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks and/or elevator design disciplines is a plus.
  • Background in metal/steel manufacturing projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and contract/liability considerations.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines, oversee operational workflows, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
