Structural Steel QC Inspector bei Met-Con, Inc.

Met-Con, Inc., an AISC-certified industry leader, is seeking a skilled Certified Welding Inspector to join our full-time, on-site quality control team in our structural steel fabrication shop.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect fabricated steel in our AISC-certified facility.

• Verify compliance with drawings, specs, and D1.1/D1.5 standards.

• Document non-conformances and coordinate resolutions.

• Support AISC audits and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• CWI Certification - REQUIRED.

• 5+ years' experience in structural steel layout/fabrication.

• Strong blueprint reading skills; welding certification preferred.

• Detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset, strong teamwork skills.
