POSITION DESCRIPTION:

IMG is seeking a proactive and solutions-driven P&C Team Lead to oversee and support our Personal Lines and Commercial Lines service teams. The Team Lead will partner closely with the Director of Operations to champion operational excellence, empower team members, and strengthen client relationships. This role involves team leadership, process improvement, reporting, and hands-on problem solving to ensure exceptional service delivery within the P&C department. 

Requirements

DAY IN THE LIFE OF:

  • Lead team huddles, organizing engaging and educational content to foster team development and growth.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews for team members, excluding senior-level staff.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate staffing and coverage in Personal and Commercial Lines departments, including managing PTO and lunch schedules, and ensuring consistent implementation of the buddy system.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated client issues, engaging directly with clients as needed to provide resolution and deliver WOW service.
  • Coordinate and schedule carrier meetings, ensuring account managers are prepared and meetings run smoothly.
  • Maintain pulse on team and departmental culture, promptly surfacing any concerns to leadership.
  • Personally follow up with clients submitting low survey scores to understand their experience and seek actionable feedback.
  • Play an active role in both client and internal process feedback committees to identify areas for process enhancement.
  • Participate in strategic projects, lending insights on process changes and departmental development.
  • Maintain and service a partial book of business in either Personal Lines or Commercial Lines as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience motivating and developing teams.
  • Indiana Property and Casualty License required
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, especially in client-facing situations.
  • Experience with operational planning and process improvement.
  • Ability to create a positive team culture and facilitate open, constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with insurance carrier relationships and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in common office tools and agency management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant industry certifications a plus.
