Software Engineering Intern

We are seeking talented and motivated students pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree.  This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment, and will involve a variety of technologies and skillsets to include reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, software development, Kubernetes, mission automation, and DevSecOps.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with an engineering team to solve complex challenges using state-of-the-art innovations and technologies.  

Responsibilities

• Work on cutting-edge technologies in reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, and software development.
• Develop and enhance mission-critical software solutions with a focus on security and automation.
• Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, and mission automation.
• Assist in identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities in software and systems.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact national security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to improve system performance and security.
• Research and experiment with new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements

Requirements

• Enrolled in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Engineering), with a graduation date of 2027, 2028, or 2029
• Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and methodologies 
• Strong programming skills in at least one language 
• Experience with system architecture and design principles 
• US Citizenship required
• Available during the Spring, Summer, and Fall Semester
• 40 hours/week on-site at Cryptic Vector
