Blue Core Craft designs and manufactures high-quality upholstery and components for the marine and specialty vehicle industries. We work exclusively with OEMs, delivering precision craftsmanship and reliable production at scale. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and appearance.

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and testing materials and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence with OEM customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in a manufacturing environment, and strong communication skills to provide feedback to production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain records of inspection results, documenting any issues and corrective actions taken.
• Work closely with production teams to identify and address quality concerns.
• Develop and implement inspection processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Perform measurements using tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Ensure upholstery, foam, vinyl, and component assemblies meet customer standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and assembly.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or upholstery/boatbuilding preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with upholstery, foam cutting, plastics, or assembly processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.

This position will be based out of our Greenville, SC facility.
