We are searching for a Mail Services Technician – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll ensure the proper delivery of all mail throughout the hospital.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards. 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in materials handling, distribution, or customer service (preferably in a medical setting)

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure mail functions, including sorting and delivery of inbound, outbound, and interoffice mail
  • Receive and deliver mail to and from all hospital locations
  • Process all Fedex and UPS deliveries including bulk mail shipments
  • Ensure mail is appropriately stamped on the USPS stamp machine
  • Answer and respond to all customer requests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Notify customers of the estimated time of arrival for items not in stock
  • Complete all delivery documentation
  • Operate area-specific equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Fulfill housekeeping duties as necessary
