LPN-Employee Health (PT, Casual)-Days bei Adena Health System

The Employee Health LPN serves as a member of a multi-functional collaborative team that delivers quality care and services to caregivers of Adena Health System. This position will case manage caregiver illness, injury, or 
exposure to biological or other workplace hazards. The LPN will administer appropriate immunizations and 
testing per protocol, provide respiratory fit testing, and ensure caregiver compliance with all Employee Health policies through education and communication with both caregivers and leaders. This position will be required to deliver services to all caregivers at all Adena sites and participate in a rotating weekend call assignment. Employee Health has access to highly confidential employee information and this position will represent Adena with the utmost integrity and professionalism at all times.

 Minimum Qualifications
Job Specific Essential Functions
Timely and accurate communication to caregivers and leaders 
Maintains current knowldege of CDC guidelines and recommendations; applies knowledge in an everchanging environment
Performs drug screens as ordered per Human Resources and other POC testing per policy
Assists with mass event planning: scheduling, staffing and supply coordination
Preferred Experience:
Occupational Health, Employee Health, Population Health, Infection 
Prevention
Gives appropriate immunizations per protocol 
Performs Respiratory fit testing and provides caregiver education
Manages blood and body fluid exposures from initial incident to 6 month follow-up including mandatory 
tracking, recordkeeping and compliance
Manages caregiver exposure to all infectious diseases per policy; including notification and follow-up

Public Health policy, Infection prevention knowledge
Required Certifications, Basic Life Support
Preferred Certifications, 
Required Experience:
5 years in a clinical setting; Excellent computer skill with multiple 
applications

Required Educational Degree: Licensed Practical Nurse Curriculum; Current Ohio Licensure
