About the Role
As a Foot & Ankle and Trauma Orthopedic Sales Representative, you will focus exclusively on supporting surgeons and healthcare providers within these specialized areas. Your role will involve developing deep expertise in Arthrex’s Foot & Ankle and Trauma product lines and applying that knowledge in surgical settings.
You will work closely with healthcare providers to educate them on the latest Foot & Ankle and Trauma innovations, host targeted product demonstrations, and participate in cadaver labs and ongoing training. You’ll be expected to continuously build your knowledge base so you can act as a trusted resource on Foot & Ankle and Trauma techniques, implants, and technologies.
This position requires a strong commitment to learning and applying complex surgical procedures, while also driving territory growth through consultative sales strategies. Success comes from combining technical expertise, surgeon support, and relationship building to expand Arthrex’s presence in the Foot & Ankle and Trauma market.
Your Responsibilities will Include:
- Consistently meet and exceed sales objectives for your territory within the Foot & Ankle and Trauma product lines.
- Represent Arthrex Minnesota by educating and supporting surgeons and healthcare professionals on the latest Arthrex innovations.
- Grow territory performance by building strong business relationships and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Communicate regularly with new and existing customer accounts.
- Develop and execute sales plans and targeted marketing initiatives specific to Foot & Ankle and Trauma.
- Partner with the Sales Manager to receive coaching, training, and mentorship.
- Share knowledge and best practices with peers and Sales Associates.
- Maintain advanced training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and surgical applications.
- Participate in sales meetings, local cadaver labs, and off-site trainings.
- Manage case coverage based on surgical schedules, requiring flexibility with varying hours.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in orthopedic medical device sales—Foot & Ankle or Trauma preferred.
- Comfort working in surgery and operating room environments.
- Strong communication skills, including presentations and public speaking.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel within your assigned territory (up to 150 miles daily) and across Minnesota as needed.
Physical Demands
This position requires regular standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Case coverage may require bending, reaching, and extended periods of time in operating room environments.
