Job Title: People/HR Generalist
Location: Midtown Manhattan (Hybrid – 14 days in person per month, with at least 3 days per week in office)
Reports to: US People/HR Manager
At Charles Tyrwhitt, our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well”—and we can’t do that without our specialist teams. We are looking for a People/HR Generalist to join our US People team, supporting approximately 150 employees across our US head office and retail locations.
What You Will Be Doing
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for head office and retail roles (job postings, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding).
- Partner with managers to define role requirements and create engaging job descriptions.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates, focusing on both volume retail hiring and specialized head office roles.
- Ensure a smooth, positive candidate experience that reflects CT’s culture and values.
Learning & Development
- Stay up to date with mandatory training requirements by state (e.g., harassment prevention, health & safety) and ensure compliance.
- Facilitate live training sessions (virtual and in-person) and coordinate external training resources when needed.
- Maintain training records and reporting for compliance audits.
Payroll & HR Operations
- Process and manage weekly payroll in ADP for all US employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain HRIS records and employee data integrity.
- Support benefits administration, including enrolments, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Partner with finance and other departments for reporting and compliance needs.
- Provide day-to-day HR support for both office and retail employees.
- Assist in employee relations, compliance, and other HR projects as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of HR experience
- ADP experience is required; experience working within a PEO model is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Hands-on experience preparing payroll.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage employees across different levels and locations.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to HR with willingness to grow
- Must be able to reliably commute to Midtown NYC office 3+ days per week.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000.
