Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer
Position Summary
The Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer is a senior executive responsible for driving business strategy and growth, forming high-impact partnerships, and setting the overarching development strategy for TSS. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this leader will identify new markets, establish strategic alliances, and direct initiatives that position TSS as a global provider of AI, high-performance computing, and mission-critical data center integration services. The leader collaborates closely with the executive team to ensure alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and finance, while leading with vision, accountability, and measurable results. This role requires approximately 30% travel.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic direction and business development strategies aligned with TSS’s mission and long-term objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and business development plan for AI and Infrastructure growth including new routes to market.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new domestic and international market opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, technology partners, and industry leaders.
- Lead complex, high-value negotiations and oversee contracts, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Provide mentorship and direction to the business development team.
- Collaborate with TSS executive leaders to align strategies company-wide.
- Track and analyze KPIs to measure effectiveness and refine strategies.
- Anticipate risks, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to ensure TSS’s competitive advantage.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development or strategic growth roles.
- At least 5 years in a senior executive or C-level capacity.
- Demonstrated success in scaling revenue, building partnerships, and expanding into new markets.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Acute experience in technology, hardware, services, and software with direct knowledge of the data center, AI, and infrastructure marketplace.
- Track record of successful public-company executive leadership.
