Location: Morristown
Position: Shipping/ Receiving Coordinator
Shift: Day shift, (7am - 3pm), M - Fr
Pay: $27.45-$33.28/hr depending on experience
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for providing support for all Warehouse Shipping and Receiving functions including Material Handling as listed below under essential job functions.
What you will be doing for Shipping/Receiving Coordinator:
Maintain all company health, housekeeping, and safety standards.
Receive shipments with approved purchase order.
Label all incoming Raw Stock.
Verify information on all freight bills.
Print receipt and turn in to Accounting. & File copies of bill of lading.
Schedule raw material deliveries and pick-ups. Will train all personnel on raw material receiving.
Coordinate vendor delivery schedule.
Prepare documents for package shipments.
Must be an active member of the Supply Chain Pillar Team.
Assist in physical Inventory and Inventory control.
Assist in loading/unloading of trucks. & Staging Shipments.
Train employees in Safe Fork Lift Operations according to OSHA regulations.
Perform other duties as directed By Supervisor or Manager.
Possess a Class A License and Fork lift license.
Ability to read and comprehend pick lists, notice of shipment, packing list, EDI, etc.
Ability to perform computer data entry using computerized forms and word processing software.
The ability to communicate with customers, vendors, and employees.
·Requires reading and writing comprehension as well as basic math.
What you will be doing for the Material Handler/CDL:
Must work safely at all times, following all Plant and Division Safety rules and policies.
Perform all functions in accordance with specified safety procedures and designated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Maintain all Company health and housekeeping GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
Must complete forklift inspections at the beginning of each shift.
Locate all raw stock for staging press jobs on each shift.
Load and unload trucks as necessary. Verify materials for Shipping/Receiving to bill of lading and packaging list prior to loading/unloading trucks.
Maintain an organized warehouse and stage materials together by job.
Inspect trucks prior to loading/unloading for unsafe or unclean conditions.
Verify that all returned rolls have the return tickets and are palletized correctly for returning to warehouse.
Ensure that returned raw materials and rejects are palletized properly and returned to warehouse.
Assist with raw and finished goods inventory.
Verify that raw materials for upcoming jobs are available.
Sort recyclable materials
Operate forklift as required.
Must be able to cover for material handlers, Truck Drivers, and Shipping Supervisor
Maintain organized and clean work area.
Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to the spirit of total quality and continuous improvement in performing the essential job functions of the position.
Performs other duties assigned or as the situation dictates.
Regular attendance required. Work overtime as required.
Ability to work independently as well as with others.

Visual acuity required.
Keying data into computer requires repetitive hand/wrist motion.
Constant climbing on and off tow motor.
