Position Statement:
The Senior Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of data-driven, customer-centric marketing campaigns that deliver measurable commercial advantage for hotels and ownership groups across Türkiye. This role is pivotal in translating Hilton’s Marketing and eCommerce strategy into high-impact regional plans that drive performance, brand equity, and market share.
What will I be doing?
Key responsibilities include:
• Strategic Ownership: Define and lead the marketing strategy for Türkiye, customer segments, and source markets, ensuring alignment with broader commercial goals and regional business priorities.
• Performance Leadership: Drive regional Marketing and eCommerce initiatives to deliver the revenue targets and grow market share, leveraging insights to optimise Digital Direct channel mix and campaign effectiveness.
• Market Influence: Cultivate strong in-market relationships to enhance the relevance and impact of marketing activities, acting as a trusted advisor to hotel teams and ownership groups.
• Insight-Driven Reporting: Oversee performance measurement and reporting, translating data into actionable insights and communicating results to stakeholders at hotel and corporate levels.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead effective partnerships with all marketing teams from hotel-level destination contacts to other teams within Marketing and Loyalty, ensuring a seamless integration of marketing efforts and alignment across functions.
• Digital Excellence: Own the market strategy and ensure best-in-class execution that drives transient demand and brand differentiation.
Position Summary:
1. Commercial Strategy & Performance
• Lead the development and execution of data-driven marketing strategies tailored to Türkiye, aligning with customer behavior, market dynamics, and business priorities to drive demand across optimal channels, with the right messaging and timing.
• Oversee regular performance reviews and in-depth analysis of regional KPIs, identifying trends and translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Proactively identify growth opportunities, spearheading targeted activations to unlock new source markets and channels—e.g., leveraging MEA demand into Europe during peak periods.
• Act swiftly to address performance gaps by deploying agile, market-specific initiatives that support commercial objectives.
• Own the performance of direct channels for transient leisure business, ensuring continuous growth through innovative marketing and demand generation tactics.
• Partner with hotels to elevate their marketing effectiveness—both online and offline—focusing on Digital Direct revenue growth, brand differentiation, and strengthening their presence in the domestic market.
2. Stakeholder Engagement & Regional Enablement
• Build and maintain trusted, strategic relationships with regional VP, Area General Managers, Commercial leaders, General Manager and Marketing teams, ensuring alignment on marketing priorities and delivering impactful insights.
• Engage with franchise stakeholders, including DFSs and management groups, to communicate marketing strategies, support portfolio needs, and drive adoption of key initiatives.
• Support cross-functional regional projects and high-priority hotel initiatives, ensuring marketing plans are insight-led and aligned with broader commercial goals.
• Act as a marketing ambassador across the region—championing initiatives, fostering engagement, and demonstrating how marketing drives competitive advantage for hotels, owners and regional teams.
• Motivate and mobilise Hotel marketing teams through tailored communication and engagement.
3. Campaign Strategy & Execution
• Lead the development of regional campaign strategies by synthesizing macroeconomic trends, audience insights, customer behavior, and portfolio performance to support Country Managers in shaping market-specific objectives and capabilities.
• Leverage Hilton’s in-market presence to forge strategic partnerships (DMO, Brands, Airlines) and deliver localised marketing solutions that expand reach, enhance brand affinity, and unlock new customer segments.
• Curate compelling, insight-led content that inspires travel planning and showcases the unique selling points of Hilton hotels in Türkiye, enhancing conversion across the customer journey.
What are we looking for?
Required Skills & Experience
• Advanced Data Analytics: Proven ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into strategic marketing actions that drive commercial outcomes.
• Digital Marketing Expertise: strong understanding of digital channels (Display, Email, Social, Meta, PPC, Affiliates, Local Search, SEO) and how to deploy them effectively across the marketing funnel.
• Data Literacy: Strong capability to analyse commercial data, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate strategic recommendations clearly to influence decision-making.
• Omni-Channel Planning: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated marketing plans across multiple regions, channels and timelines.
• Partnership Development: Skilled in negotiating and activating high-value partnerships that enhance brand visibility and drive incremental demand.
• Executive Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present performance insights and strategic plans to senior stakeholders.
• People Leadership: Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent to build high-performing
Essential Requirements
To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
• BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree or experience in lieu of
• Comprehensive experience at Senior Manager level
• Supervisory experience
• Fluent English (both spoken and written)
Preferred Requirements
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
• Hospitality experience
• Fluency in Turkish (both written and spoken)
