We have an exciting opportunity to join our Nestlé team as a Labour Coordinator and Training Administrator at our factory in Halifax.

A day in the life of Labour Coordinator & Training Administrator
Labour Coordinator Duties:
Labour Planning: Utilize the local labour planning system (DLM) and GLOBE to ensure appropriate Nestlé skills are available for relevant shifts. Liaise with Shift Managers and Supply Planners to support the latest production plan.
Data Management: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office to extract and analyse data effectively. Record and maintain attendance spreadsheets, overtime data, and balance of hours.
Reporting and Communication: Generate effective reports for factory Managers, adapting to last-minute changes and disruptions. Represent labour planning in factory DOR/WOR meetings and organize overtime with operators.
Process Management: Challenge existing processes and apply a dynamic approach to problem-solving while ensuring fairness and consistency. Consider various factors (shift patterns, overtime allocation, training, etc.) to deliver effective labour plans.
Compliance: Maintain holiday and overtime/offline data within the system, ensuring adherence to Terms and Conditions and Working Time Directive guidelines.
Training Administrator Duties:
SOP Management: Maintain site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) through the POKA system, ensuring annual reviews and updates.
Training Oversight: Maintain a sufficient pool of trained SOP authors to create, review, and update SOPs according to the annual plan.
Reporting and Compliance: Provide monthly compliance reports on the SOP management system. Update and maintain the compliance matrix, collaborating with SHE, Quality, and Engineering heads to meet legislative and company H&S requirements.
Training Administration: Utilize the GROW Learning Management System to access training records and maintain all training documents, including evaluations and certificates.
General Administration: Perform general administrative duties related to training and development.
What will make you successful
The person that is successful in this role will confident and be able to challenge in an effective manner. You will need to have a good working knowledge of MS Office to be able to use a variety of different IT systems and have strong inter-personal skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. whilst maintaining attention to detail and strive to achieve the highest results in any given task. Good organisation skills are also key to the role. You will need to be tenacious and dynamic in finding solutions to ensure we can deliver the required production plan, and be able to cope under pressure with various last-minute changes that can result in re-planning numerous times. Good communication skills are required liaising with a number of key stakeholders.
Other attributes would include:
• Proven ability to deal with people at all levels
• Initiative and innovative new ideas to drive labour planning forward
• A confident and courteous telephone and face to face manner
• Competent & confident in use of GLOBE and all MS Excel systems
• Understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Planning inter-relationships.
• Good planning and forecasting skills to maximise efficiency.
