SAP Application Specialist – OTC/P2P
Being a division in Toll Group, Toll Government & Defence provides specialised logistics services across warehousing and distribution, relocation services and outsourced sourcing and procurement services.
The Role
Join our team as we deliver key internal projects and provide ongoing application support for Toll Government & Defence’s S/4HANA system. This role focuses on the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) modules, ensuring robust functionality and continuous improvement across critical business processes.
To be successful as a SAP Application Specialist – OTC/P2P, you will need to:
- Provide support by resolving incidents and service requests, conducting system troubleshooting, and managing testing activities including User Acceptance and Pre-Production Testing.
- Contribute to project delivery through solution design, deployment of change requests, and collaboration across teams to ensure business impacts are considered.
- Handle system configuration changes, continuous improvements, and enhancements, while reviewing and deploying support packs and version upgrades.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (WRICEFs).
- Manage data-related tasks including collection, mapping, conversion, and migration, and analyse financial data to generate business insights .
- Develop and propose strategies to address business challenges, ensuring compliance with Toll’s policies and procedures across all workstreams.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or Business or a related discipline
- Relevant industry certification
- Relevant SAP certification
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in SAP SD and MM modules, with mandatory exposure to S/4HANA and a strong understanding of configuration and business analysis.
- Proven ability to operate in both support and project environments, working effectively with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Skilled communicator across all levels of the organisation, with a proactive and motivated approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Solid grasp of reporting and data analysis within Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes, including operational expectations.
- Capable of anticipating issues and managing escalations, with strong planning and prioritisation skills in dynamic environments.
- Resilient and adaptable, able to embrace change and champion new ways of working.
