Entity Description
The Group Strategy and Competitive Intelligence department (GSCI) supports Air Liquide’s Group Senior Management (COMEX, CEO) in defining the strategy and assessing its environment. It brings added value to the COMEX by anticipating, highlighting and sharing the trends and significant news. It also coordinates the business intelligence community and data, leveraging and sharing the relevant information to the operations.
The GSCI department is responsible for the following tasks:
- Group Strategy coordination and management
- Extended competition watch and market analysis
- Foresight to reveal and challenge long term assumptions and potentials
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
To support the GSCI team, we are looking for an intern who will work on the following tasks:
Collecting data and summarizing news related to the Industrial Gas sector and some Energy Transition trends
Preparing analyses related to sustainability topics for the Group and its competitors
Assisting in the financial analysis of competitors, including updating financial models
Gathering insights and information for ad-hoc analyses on financial / M&A topics, market shares, business trends
Updating and improving competition databases
Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively
Are you a MATCH?
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme in Business School or Engineering School
Good understanding of financial analysis and accounting
Proficiency in Excel (proficiency in Power BI, Google App Script is a plus)
Analytical skills and attention to detail
Verbal and written communication skills (English fluency mandatory)
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Air Liquide has been awarded the Happy Trainees label.
The internship will take place in the Group's historical headquarters in the center of Paris at Quai d'Orsay.
Geographical location: France / Ile de France / 75-Paris
Desired start date: January 2026
Duration of the internship: 6 months
