SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provides daily quality-related support to resolve customer quality issues. Works directly with customer at on-site locations to resolve daily quality issues and findings. Reports out findings at customer location to Quality Engineer that is in charge of specific customer daily.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Review of Nonconforming material at customer location daily
- React to customer concerns at facility.
- Review customer process to understand how defect effects processes.
- Help investigate customer findings using 8D, 5 why, and other problem-solving tools.
- Request Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
- Provides recommendations for the disposition of nonconforming material.
- Communicate daily with quality engineer overseeing program.
- Communicate daily with customer.
- Validate material stocks.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of Liaison experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the automotive industry a plus. Plastics industry experience a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player in a diverse work group.
- Computer skills should include basic word processing and spreadsheet skills. Must be willing to pursue further education as job requirements dictate. 100% Travel is required.
