Job Description:

Who We Are:
Southern New Hampshire Health has been a cornerstone of the region since 1893, delivering high-quality, compassionate care close to home. Anchored by Southern New Hampshire Medical Center—a 188-bed, DNV-accredited hospital in downtown Nashua with a Level III-N trauma center, Level II Special Care Nursery, and Magnet® designation for nursing excellence—we offer a full spectrum of services from primary care to advanced diagnostics and specialized treatments. Our medical staff includes over 500 providers from Foundation Medical Partners, and local practices. Foundation Medical Partners, our multi-specialty group, spans 70+ practices across southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts, providing coordinated, patient-centered care to thousands each year.

About the Job:
As the RN Breast Health Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in guiding patients through their breast care journey. You’ll coordinate radiologist-recommended breast biopsies, ensure seamless communication between providers, and serve as a resource for patients and families navigating diagnosis and treatment. This position combines direct patient support with program coordination, quality monitoring, and education—helping to advance breast health services across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy recommendations, scheduling, and follow-up care.
  • Assist radiologists during interventional breast procedures; obtain vitals, set up trays, and provide comfort to patients.
  • Educate patients and families on biopsy procedures, ensuring understanding before and after appointments.
  • Serve as a key liaison within a multidisciplinary breast health team, including Tumor Boards, Breast Program Leadership Team, and the Cancer Committee.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, monitor patient outcomes, and promote timely access to care.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, staff, and the community through outreach programs and workshops.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with RIS, PACS, EMR, and maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Who You Are:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN strongly preferred.
  • Licensed RN in New Hampshire; BCLS required (OCN certification preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in oncology, preferably caring for breast cancer patients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, breast cancer treatment, and psychosocial impacts of disease.
  • Skilled communicator, effective at working across teams and supporting patients with compassion.

Why You’ll Love Us:

  • Health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time & part-time employees
  • Short-term, long-term disability, life & pet insurance
  • Tuition reimbursement & Nursing Student Loan Paydown Program
  • 403(b) Retirement savings plans
  • Continuous earned time accrual
