POSITION: IT Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Manager of IT
OBJECTIVE: First point of contact for IT support across the organization. This role is primarily remote, with occasional office visits as needed, and is responsible for managing the helpdesk queue, resolving Level 1 support issues, and triaging more advanced requests to the correct team member.
The IT Coordinator also plays a key role in vendor billing, IT documentation, and user lifecycle management. This position is ideal for someone eager to grow into higher-level IT roles, with training support provided toward CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
COMPENSATION: Non-exempt (hourly), monthly cell phone stipend.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Helpdesk & Ticket Management
- Monitor, triage, and respond to all incoming tickets in Zendesk.
- Resolve Level 1 issues such as password resets, VPN troubleshooting, and application access.
- Escalate tickets beyond Level 1 with proper documentation.
- Maintain SLA compliance and follow up with users for resolution confirmation.
User Lifecycle Management
- Provision accounts, hardware, and software for new hires.
- Decommission accounts, profiles, and access rights during offboarding.
- Maintain user and device documentation in IT Glue.
- Systems & Application Support
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom Phone.
- Update file share and SharePoint permissions.
- Provide support for workstation issues (printing, email setup, connectivity).
Vendor & Documentation Management
- Track IT invoices, billing, renewals, and vendor contracts.
- Maintain IT Glue documentation for systems, users, and processes.
- Assist with hardware/software procurement and license tracking.
Compliance & Security Support
- Assist with IT policy enforcement and compliance reviews.
- Ensure user permissions align with security standards.
- Contribute to quarterly access and compliance checks.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- 1–3 years of IT helpdesk or support experience.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and VPN troubleshooting.
- Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred
- Experience with IT Glue or other documentation tools.
- Exposure to Zoom or VoIP platforms.
- Understanding of IT asset tracking and vendor management.
- Interest in pursuing certifications (A+, Network+, Security+).
