SUMMARY
Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test various components
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the GCM Quality System
- Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements
- Report issues with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Lead or Production Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient assembly functions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Requirements
REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures, instruction and prints written in English
- Able to use microscope to perform assembly work
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good eye/hand coordination
DESIRED
- Two years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Ability to follow manufacturing drawings and diagrams
- Microscope usage for lengthy periods of time
- Soldering, box build, small and medium sized hand tools (tweezers, cutters, crimpers, grinders, wrenches)
