About the Job:

Picture walking into a welcoming primary care clinic, ready to utilize your specialized nutrition expertise to empower individuals on their journey to better health. Your day involves providing personalized nutrition assessments and developing tailored dietary plans to manage chronic conditions and promote overall wellness. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, playing a vital role in the holistic care of our patient community. You�ll also have the opportunity to enhance nutrition awareness across groups by leading educational initiatives and interactive wellness activities. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, onsite opportunity in Memphis, TN with the following schedule:

  • Mondays & Fridays 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Tuesdays - Thursdays 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

What You�ll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
  • Deliver expert nutrition counseling to patients, addressing a variety of health conditions, particularly chronic diseases.
  • Educate patients on therapeutic diets, meal planning, and healthy eating habits.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to integrate nutrition interventions into patient care.
  • Contribute to clinic support and ongoing education initiatives related to nutrition and wellness.
  • Facilitate and participate in population-driven health initiatives such as webinars, food demos, and promotion of clinic services
  • Track patient progress and document interventions effectively.
  • Stay current on the latest evidence-based nutrition guidelines and best practices.

What You�ll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor�s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or Human Nutrition (required).
  • Master's Preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience providing nutrition counseling in an outpatient setting preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration) (required).
  • Active TN Licensure
  • Relevant specialty certification (CDCES, CSOWM, etc.) preferred.
