For our office in Telford, we are looking for a Senior Continious Improvement Specialist in full-time to lead and mentor Process Improvement projects


What you'll do:
  • Passionately drive ProtoExcellence visibility and awareness across the business.
  • Lead and mentor Process Improvement projects as assigned throughout various functions. Working with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to better serve the customer.
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen Events.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with leaders and process players throughout the organization.
  • Gain stakeholder alignment and commitment throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and execute a sustainment strategy as part of the project implementation.
  • Serve as a catalyst for a ProtoExcellence culture of continuous improvement through the use of Lean philosophies and practices, as well as change management and project management approaches.
  • Train, coach and mentor others in ProtoExcellence methodologies. Including flow creation, visual management, root cause analysis, problem solving, actions to prevent recurrence, standard work and follow-up. Viewed as an expert in these areas and conveys knowledge and confidence when engaging others.
  • Share best practices and build relationships with ProtoExcellece resources at all facilities.
  • Utilize data driven, fact based analytics to perform these services as needed across all functional areas to solve problems and replicate successful solutions.


  • What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant professional continuous improvement experience.
  • Extensive knowledge & experience working with Lean continuous improvement and problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • Experience facilitating Kaizen Events
  • Lean Certification (Lean, BB, MBB)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of Lean/Continuous Improvement/Problem Solving methodologies and ability to teach and model them.
  • Have strong bias for action, while proving the ability to inspire others.
  • Driven self-starter, motivated by helping others to achieve deliverables.
  • Ability to adapt style to coach and mentor a wide variety of individuals and further develop teams.
  • Ability to understand and constructively challenge current practice in the search for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative, attention to detail, and follow thorough.
  • Proficient with applying statistical tools to data analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills: able to communicate complex information to all levels of the organization, and able to prepare data to be presented
