Wage Range: $15.00

Position Summary

The Event Supervisor is an on-call position available nights or weekends. Open up the facilities, set up building contents as needed, monitor bathrooms, hallways, and other areas for spills, messes, and clean them accordingly throughout the event. Make sure bathrooms and other areas are stocked and are presentable to the public. Empty garbage containers and take out trash when needed and at the end of the shift. When the event is over, clean areas and make sure all trash is out and bathrooms are stocked and cleaned. Make sure all doors are locked and shut. Make sure all lights are off and no one is left in the building. You will be trained on emergency procedures and all cleaning products and equipment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and supplies regularly after shift. 
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors and rugs.
• Remove all trash and install new trash bags in all garbage containers. 
• Clean bleacher areas and put back all chairs and tables used during the event. 
• Lock and unlock entry doors, make sure sidewalks are shoveled and sanded, and salted in wintertime.
• Set up and tear down of equipment and building contents as needed for the event. 
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and custodial teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma 
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of general cleaning supplies

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently 
• Custodian and event experience
• Experience working with people

Working Conditions

• Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical activity includes lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, kneeling, and operating machinery.
• Work hours vary seasonally, including early mornings or afternoons, nights, or weekends.
