Tropicana Brands Group UK is now looking for a highly qualified Head of impulse in the commercial function who will oversee the strategy, performance, and operations of Wholesale/Convenience, Foodservice and QSR channels. 

 

The Perfect Blend: The role 

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the channel and customers, this role is primarily responsible for delivering key commercial KPIs and aligning the goals, resources, and processes of their unit with the overall vision and purpose of the organisation. 

Our ambition is to significantly accelerate our plans in Foodservice/QSR and it is imperative that the individual has extensive knowledge and experience of this channel to unlock our growth potential.  Head of Impulse is also responsible for bringing TBG brands to life through impactful execution at the point of purchase and delivering distribution, supporting the team to prospect customer pipelines and converting to contract wins.  Using consumer insights, category based selling and creativity to build compelling commercial channel and customer plans.  The role is also responsible for raising TBG profile and expertise across all Impulse channels through being a category voice, a role ambassador and strong networking capabilities.

They will be responsible for directly managing a team of Account Controllers, Senior Account Managers and Account Execs and leading a broader cross functional team matrix to ensure internal clarity, focus and alignment through motivated and engaged teams.

 

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity:  

  • Owner of business unit, c. 40% total company sales and direct team of 9 people and cross functional matrix of 12 people
  • Leads the strategy and vision for channel and defined customer portfolio (where to play & how to win) ensuring alignment with overall commercial objectives
  • Responsible for accelerating our growth across Wholesale/Convenience, Foodservice and QSR channels
  • Responsible for financial contribution from Litres/Net Revenue to Margin in channel
  • Delivers key Sales Process KPIs to ensure we deliver operational and financial efficiency  
  • Drive commercial impact and brand growth – flawless execution and ensuring TBG remains a compelling choice at the point of purchase
  • Develops future talent and capabilities - Creates a high performing, transparent and supportive culture where individuals & teams can thrive, develop and grow
  • Cross functional leadership and collaboration to ensure all full alignment and engagement built on trust & purpose Responsible for Impulse Account Planning process -developing strong commercial plans to deliver financial targets and external metrics
  • Raising the profile of TBG and being a voice for the category

 

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements:  

  • Degree (or equivalent)
  • Current Channel or Customer Controller
  • Must have strong and extensive experience  in Foodservice/Away from Home channel at a senior level
  • Good understanding of a fast pace environment and can think outside of the box to find solutions

 

This role is based in Farringdon and it will be required to come to the office.
