Job Summary

The job of the Business Services Technician is for the purpose of providing a variety of clerical and business operations-related duties in support of the Business Services Department. Under the direction of the Director of Business Services, perform technical duties in the purchase of Baldy View ROP supplies, materials, and equipment; research and obtain price quotations; order items in accordance with Baldy View ROP policies and procedures; expedite purchases and back orders; perform various record-keeping and filing duties as required. Coordinate ordering and follow-up activities to ensure efficient and prompt buying; maintain catalogs, vendor information, and related source materials. Perform a variety of financial record-keeping activities in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable and other assigned accounts.

Requirements / Qualifications

Please note must be from current and/or past managers/supervisors. *Copy of high school diploma/or college degree if applicable QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma or equivalent, supplemented by college-level coursework in human resources, business administration, or a closely related field. • Three (3) years of experience working in a business office in which the primary duties involved performing complex technical functions, including purchasing and accounts payable and receivable functions. DESIRABLE: •Five (5) years of experience working in a business office in which the primary duties involved performing complex technical functions, including purchasing and accounts payable and receivable functions. Associate Degree or higher in Business Management or a closely related field. Experience working in an ROP JPA, school district, or county office. Valid California Driver’s License and ability to maintain insurability status under Baldy View ROP vehicle insurance policy are required.

Salary Info

Additional Salary Information: Up to $7545 with longevity; education stipend available; $2,250/month towards health and welfare benefits package.
