YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Real Estate team. This role will be responsible for defining, managing, and reporting the annual CAPEX budget. A significant part of the daily routine will involve managing projects related to various types of assets worldwide within Glovo.

We expect you to have a technical background, enabling you to manage the sourcing, design, and execution of different projects within tight timelines and budgets. You will need to meet deadlines to minimize impact on the company, identify potential risks early, and manage time efficiently, focusing on what will make a difference. Travel will be required at least once per project to ensure Glovo standards are met and to support the local team.

You will continuously work on updating our playbook to define and standardize Glovo standards for upcoming projects.

THE JOURNEY

  • Handle multiple projects in different phases simultaneously, managing priorities, with especial focus in timing and budget management. Results oriented.
  • Coordinate external partners and specialists in workplace design. Approve layouts adjusted to our ways of working.
  • Launch build tenders, obtain potential savings and select the best option for Glovo.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high level of satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate clearly with analytical and critical thinking. Prepare executive summaries and manage all levels of stakeholders to guide a decision making process concerning new assets, aligning plans with space requirements and assessing the best decision for Glovo.
  • Negotiate of new and renegotiate of existing agreements based on current market conditions.
  • Be responsible of keep updated all the assets database.
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • At least 4 years experience in real estate transactions and construction project management.
  • Budget management and financial analysis skills. Willing to test and solve problems based on data.
  • Knowledge of the Real Estate market.
  • Excellent organization and negotiation skills, and social abilities
  • Strategic thinking and ability to negotiate commercial and contractual terms in lease agreements. 
  • Fluent in English.
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude.
