Claremont Care Center, a Generations Healthcare facility, is looking to hire a Program Director to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Director to lead our Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC). This role offers the opportunity to combine strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. As Program Director, you will oversee program operations, ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, and inspire a dedicated team of professionals to deliver innovative, client-centered care.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the MHRC program calendar, ensuring at least 14 hours of rehabilitation groups and 7 hours of activity groups weekly.
  • Develop, implement, and revise program goals and objectives to meet the needs of clients and align with organizational vision.
  • Ensure timely completion of assessments, mental health evaluations, and individualized service plans.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and review of care plans every 90 days, with monthly progress updates.
  • Monitor documentation including weekly notes, discharge summaries, and audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate MHRC staff, ensuring all orientation and annual Title 9 training requirements are met.
  • Foster a positive, supportive work environment that promotes professional growth and accountability.
  • Maintain compliance with Title 9 standards, Department of Public Health requirements, and accreditation guidelines.
  • Develop and oversee a quality assurance program, including audits, inspections, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor program outcomes and implement improvements to enhance effectiveness and safety.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Social Science, or related field (state license/registration preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a mental health or training setting, with 1 year in program development for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices (EMDR, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness preferred).
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with expertise in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and quality standards
