The Role

Join the UK’s market leading Financial Advisory Restructuring Tax team and make a real difference on a range of high profile insolvency appointments.

A key focus for our Financial Advisory Restructuring Tax team is to manage the corporation tax affairs of companies when Teneo take an insolvency appointment, essentially acting as the in-house tax team for that business. The variety of work really stands out, as does the friendly and supportive nature of the team. The team works across a variety of sectors and on businesses with a range of complex and interesting tax profiles. We are a growing team and are looking for talented corporation tax specialists at Senior Consultant level to join us.

Sometimes this will involve working with external advisors and reviewing advice received to ensure that it is appropriate and aligned with business’s facts and circumstances; and

  • Working with our Financial Advisory colleagues, in particular the Insolvency Delivery Team, to understand the progression of the insolvency case and to help develop timetables to ensure that the tax filing obligations are met ahead of any intended case closure; and
  • Contributing to the technical and personal development training of the broader team.

Skills & Experience

To qualify for the role you will have:

  • AAT/ATT (or equivalent) or relevant experience; and
