Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled technician with a background in injection molding who’s eager to expand into advanced composite manufacturing. This role provides a special chance to cross-train in Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), a process used in high-performance industries such as aerospace and automotive. If you can work with complex systems, operate presses, and balance production demands with daily priorities, we will train you for career advancement.

You will be actively involved in working with molds, tooling, and composite materials within a highly collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their skill set into the future of lightweight, high-strength manufacturing.

What you get to do!

  • Conduct daily inspections and implement TPM tasks on tooling and supporting equipment
  • Setup and operate machines as prescribed by the process, including tasks like platen daylight adjustment and resin prep
  • Monitor molding recipe and critical process benchmarks to ensure efficient performance and zero defects
  • Assist in troubleshooting and improving molding processes with strong communication to team members and reporting manager
  • Follow established safety protocols and quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with project engineering and value stream operations to support target production schedules
  • Use technical knowledge to communicate with vendors and service teams as needed
  • Ensure high-quality documentation and issue tracking

What you will bring to the Team

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of experience in a molding environment
  • Hands-on experience with mold press maintenance, pneumatic and servo-controlled systems, mold changeover and maintenance, and TCU operation and plumbing
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Excellent judgment in analyzing, evaluating, and solving problems
  • Molding Processing Certification or equivalent formal training in thermoplastic molding technologies
  • Prior experience with RTM or other branches of composites manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical proficiency in mastering complex molding technologies
