Location: Breinigsville, PA
Pay: $19.50 per hour
Type: Part-Time | Weekend
Shift: Friday - Sunday 12am-8am
Youth Counselor | Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a variety of counseling, communication, and parenting skills, which support the formation of trusting, supportive relationships with the residents.
- Maintains safety and security of residents and facility.
- Actively supervises residents during academic instruction, recreational activity, in the community, and in common areas of the facility.
- Collaboratively creates residential behavioral goals in conjunction with clinical staff and case manager.
- Creates and maintains electronic health records (EHR) and reports to record residents’ progress toward behavioral goals.
- Will be trained in accordance with our structured program policies and procedures.
Youth Counselor | Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of college in a social or human services related field, OR
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years documented experience working with youth.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must pass criminal history (including FBI) and child abuse history clearances.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
