Join the City of Bothell’s Public Works Department (Street Division) as a Public Works Maintenance Worker! We’re looking for dedicated team members to support vegetation control, roadside maintenance, street repairs, and more. Apply today and help keep our streets safe and clean year-round!

What will you do in this position?

  • Perform routine maintenance on City infrastructure, including streets and roadways.
  • Maintain landscaping by mowing, trimming, cleaning up trash and weeds, and using paint, fertilizers, and other chemicals safely.
  • Carry out routine traffic control tasks.
  • Follow safety rules in work zones and flagging areas, including setting up cones and barricades.
  • Clear ice and snow from roadways, right of way and public facilities as directed.
  • Learn to operate and maintain various specialized vehicles, equipment, and hand or power tools.
  • Support the maintenance of tools and equipment and report any mechanical needing repair. 

A successful candidate in this position will:

  • Apply objective reasoning and action, maintaining perspective when evaluating both qualitative and quantitative information.
