Monitoring, Control and Compliance, Inc. (MCC) is a privately owned small business providing services to the solid waste industry. Founded by a former landfill gas technician in 2005 with two employees; and has since grown to approximately 65 employees utilizing a controlled growth strategy.
Our focus is the installation, operation and maintenance of landfill gas systems that are installed to reduce the emissions of Methane impacting our environment and provide for a “Green” energy source for our client’s end-users.

Core Functions
· Supports the construction, maintenance, and repair of pipeline infrastructure.
· Various manual labor tasks, including excavation, pipe handling, and site preparation, to ensure the efficient and safe operation of pipeline projects
· Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems, including the assembly and disassembly of pipelines.
· Perform manual excavation and trenching work using hand tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
· Load, unload, and position pipes and related materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
· Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, vegetation, and other obstacles.
· Operate basic construction equipment and tools, such as jackhammers, compactors, and saws, following safety guidelines.
· Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training sessions.
· Provide support to skilled workers, such as welders and pipefitters, by holding materials, tools, and other equipment.
· Assist in inspecting pipeline systems for leaks, damage, or other issues, and report findings to the supervisor.
· General Labor Tasks: Perform other general labor tasks as required, including cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas.
General Qualifications & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 2 yrs Heavy equipment operation (excavator, off-road truck, dozer, and skid steer).
· Supervisory experience
· Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including the proficient and safe use of hand tools.
· Detail oriented
· Mechanical aptitude.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills required
· Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to pass pre-employment, as well as random, drug screens, background check and motor vehicle records check.
· Willingness to work in outdoor environments, potentially in remote locations and under varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
· Previous landfill gas systems construction experience.
· Current OSHA 40 Hr. HAZWOPER.
· HDPE pipe fusion certificate
· Knowledge of basic math, gas chemistry, piping and instrumentation drawings.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) frequently.
· Perform repetitive motions, including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
· Work in confined spaces and at heights, as required by the job.
· Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
· Exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials commonly found in construction sites
