PROJECTS MANAGER

 

FLSA Status:  Exempt

Summary

 

We are seeking a “best in class” Project Manager that will manage multiple projects to document, schedule and oversee all aspects to provide industry leading customer service. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You will be a strong and reliable support to company operations. Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, you will nurture the pleasant work environment our people love.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) This is a safety sensitive position.

 

  • Performing project research and completing technical design tasks

  • Prepare opinion of probable cost, construction specifications and contract documents

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and hydraulic schematics, and electrical schematics

  • Experience with design and engineering of heavy equipment

  • Handle multiple projects at one time

  • Develop scope, preparation of engineering designs, specifications, RFQ packages, capital request development, and upon approval the actual construction

  • Work in accordance with company standards and values with project team for a variety of projects

 

Skills and Experience Required for Success

 

  • AutoCAD Civil 3D Software skills preferred

  • Automation utilizing PLC controls and HMI integration

  • Basic understanding engineering design principles required

  • Able to set and meet design schedules and deadlines, control costs, scheduling, change orders, general meeting and reporting

  • Federal and State programs such as Mechanization Program, Production Efficiency Reporting, PEM Preventative Equipment Maintenance, Combustion Safety / NFPA 86, Arc Flash / NFPA 70E, Energy Management Program

  • Experience in project management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree preferred or 3-5 years of work-related experience
