Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience leading strategic accounts across multiple sectors and segments, including direct and virtual leadership of global teams.
- Demonstrated success in frontline sales, account management, business and sales operations, and product management.
- Strong relationship management and consultative selling skills, with a track record of C-suite engagement.
- Excellent communication skills: written, in-person, and virtual.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; thrives in ambiguity and adapts to shifting circumstances.
- Strategic account planning, negotiation, and management of complex, global accounts.
- Global experience: lived in/worked across multiple markets; led global, virtual teams; ideally speaks multiple languages.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced degree (MBA, JD/LLB, MA/MS, MEng, etc.) preferred.
Responsibilities
Brief Synopsis:
Lead, develop, and execute global account strategy for major customers, maximizing financial and strategic value for Moody’s and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and build a book of business to maximize impact and customer satisfaction.
- Drive strategic engagement and commercial relationships with key customers.
- Identify, negotiate, and deliver opportunities that benefit both customers and Moody’s.
- Deliver enterprise propositions tailored to customer needs.
- Establish and deepen C-suite relationships; act as Moody’s ambassador within customer organizations.
- Build, deliver, and track strategic account plans; forecast, track, and report key performance indicators.
- Lead virtual global teams to deliver against customer requirements.
- Mentor and develop enterprise sales and relationship management talent.
- Partner with Moody’s C-Level Executive Sponsors of accounts.
- Provide market insights and thought-provoking advice to customers, enabling them to stay ahead of trends and risks.
About the team
Our Sales and Relationship Management team is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with Moody’s Analytics customers.
- We deliver tailored solutions that address complex customer challenges across banking, insurance, asset management, government, and professional services.
- We drive enterprise-wide engagement, connecting Moody’s product teams with customer C-suites to maximize value.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $198,300.00 - $287,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
