Fairview Range is hiring a Director of Human Resources in Hibbing, MN.
Fairview Range is seeking an experienced professional to join our organization. The Director of Human Resources plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates the organization’s human resource's function and performance including staffing and scheduling, staff education & training, employee relations, union negotiations, leave management, payroll, HRIS, benefits and compensation.
Schedule: This position is full time, working 80 hours per pay period. This position will be 8-hour, day shifts. No weekends.

As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing, and measuring human resources objectives to support the organization's business objectives.
- Participating in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic business partner particularly from the perspective of the impact on people.
- Partnering with Fairview system stakeholders in the implementation of system-wide programs and initiatives at Fairview Range.
- Facilitating organization and leadership development efforts.
- Participating in the development of employee training programs.
- Participating in the development, maintenance, and application of appropriate policies, procedures, and guidelines for the effective management of the people resources of the organization.
- Driving performance management process assessing talent at all levels.
- Providing employee relations counsel to managers, HR generalists, and employees. Participating in the resolution of escalated employee relations issues. Identifying employee relations root causes and trends and implements action to prevent re-occurrence.
- Maintaining responsibility for organizational compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Serving as Joint Commission Chapter Lead for Fairview Range. Monitors the chapters EP's (Elements of Performance) to ensure compliance and audits the quality according to the standards prescribed
- Developing and manages HR, Benefits, and Staffing budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist
- 5 years' experience as a Manager/Director of Human Resources
- PHR, SHRM-CP
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in human resources or business management or business administration
- Previous experience as a Human Resources Director in a hospital of 1000 or great number of employees
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR
