Here’s how you will support our mission
CBC seeks a Student Success Software Administrator to support the success of our student success platform, coordinating campus wide use while regularly communicating its impact on student success and retention with college faculty, staff, and administration. The Student Success Software Administrator is responsible for training these constituencies in the use of EAB Navigate360 and other student success software platforms and serves as a liaison with numerous institutional offices, including the Instruction, Student Services, Institutional Research, and Technology Services.
This position reports to the Director for Advising, Retention & Completion.
The salary range for this position is $63,146-$69,801
This position is receiving applications until September 21, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST. The College will conduct initial interviews with selected candidates via Zoom and will conduct on-campus interviews with finalists.
Position Duties
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EAB Navigate360 by implementing, developing, managing, administering and supporting the use of the Navigate360 system across campus; Identify new tools and opportunities to improve processes related to utilizing student success platforms and data-driven student recruitment and retention; Collaborate with Institutional Research to provide reports on developments related to student success, retention, completion, and similar metrics to appropriate faculty, staff, and administration; Develop relationships and work collaboratively with the CBC campus community to facilitate and support strong utilization of EAB Navigate360. Work with constituents who are not utilizing EAB Navigate360 to gain their adoption; Identify, create and deliver EAB Navigate360 training opportunities for students, faculty and staff; Work closely with the Director for Advising, Retention & Completion to support advising efforts and improve student retention and completion rates; identify opportunities for improving institutional initiatives with regard to student success with a focus on underrepresented students; Collaborate with campus stakeholders to develop and utilize academic planning within Navigate360; Collaborate with Enrollment Services and Recruitment & Outreach to support recruiting and onboarding initiatives as appropriate; Coordinate with Technology Services to troubleshoot all technical issues for students, faculty, and staff related to EAB Navigate360; Develop strategies to improve effective data collection and reporting of student progress via EAB Navigate360; Manage communications related to EAB Navigate360 for the campus community; independently determine need, appropriate audience, and timing of communications; and Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an institutionally accredited college or university;
- Two (2) years of professional experience in student success or a related area;
- Knowledge in best practices for assessing, planning and managing projects;
- Knowledge of and skill using data analytical tools to track progress;
- Experience managing confidential information; and
- Experience developing and delivering training.
- Master’s degree from an institutionally accredited college or
university; - Experience in a higher education setting;
- Professional experience with any/all of the following: EAB Navigate360 or other retention
software, Tableau, Access, PeopleSoft, SQL, etc.; and - Experience working with underrepresented students.

Other Qualifications
This is a full-time, overtime eligible, administrative staff position. The typical work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; however, work hours may vary due to work demands and some evening and weekend work may be required.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility including having the ability to move materials on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc. and travel between buildings on campus. Manual dexterity and coordination are required to operate equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
Work environment includes office and other settings as appropriate. It is a fast paced and sometimes stressful services environment. The noise level in the work area is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
