RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading EMIR Refit projects and review work
- Providing ad hoc EMIR Refit regulatory advice and solutions
- Managing and maintaining client relationships
- Drafting targeted documentation for clients (manuals and procedures, templates etc)
- Preparing and delivering EMIR training sessions both internally and for clients
- Preparing pitch documents and proposals for potential work
- Liaising with industry bodies and regulators
- Preparing articles and other publications for distribution both internally and externally
- Assisting the team with business development in the following areas:
EMIR,
MiFIR,
SFTR
- Willing to work on other projects as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Significant experience either within the UK FCA, Buy-side or Sell-side firm, Exchange/MTF, Trade Repository or a professional services firm.
- Proven experience in the understanding and interpretation of EMIR and EMIR Refit within the investment banking / investment management industry and the implementation of solutions to address regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of the FCA Handbook and key areas of regulatory change such as EMIR / MiFID II / SFTR.
- Client facing, solutions focused, individual
- Team player with the ability to use own initiative and provide prompt practical services to clients
- Able to work in a team or independently
- Clear, logical thought process, able to arrive at and make decisions and articulate these clearly.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and presentational expertise
- Minimum 2.1 degree in a related degree such as economics, business studies, maths etc or equivalent professional qualification (Preferred)
- Preferred CISI qualifications (Preferred)
