JOB SUMMARY:

With guidance from the RD Manager and Sr. chemist, the RD technician is responsible for supporting making RD sample, improve, develop new and robust formulations and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibility:

  • Work on formulation under direction of manager and chemist including making sample for customer and stability, research for chemical to work with the formula.
  • Test and set up specification for the sample, record the work in the lab book and formula data base
  • Work on documentation of the formula, preparation for part number and raw material in the PLM tool such as enter formula into formula data base, close out NPD and respond to ISR if assigned.
  • Supporting RD organizing, receiving and inventory raw material, component.
  • Maintain workplace clean, organize, safe and follow GMP.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Capable to work independently or under supervision of the manager and chemists.
  • Retain great knowledge of raw material and components.
  • Capable to trouble shoot at the bench scale.

 Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.  Knowledge of HR laws.  Ability to maintain confidential information.  Able to work under pressure and deadlines.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  Previous experience with benefits administration, COBRA, and other HR functions. 

Education Requirements: Associate's degree in related field and four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation: $25/hr

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
