Your Mission
As a core member of the site Leadership Team, you’ll coordinate and lead the execution of our 5-year industrial plan—aligning investments, capacity, and productivity with divisional strategy. You’ll be the bridge between vision and reality, ensuring every initiative meets future demand, drives operational excellence, and adheres to world-class standards.
What You’ll Own
- Benchmark and elevate manufacturing processes across GKN sites
- Lead and manage site-wide capex planning, tracking, and execution
- Ensure equipment and systems meet divisional specs and safety standards
- Drive compliance in core processes like hardening, welding, and assembly
- Lead Business Process Excellence (BPE) projects to improve systems
- Consolidate budgets and provide a clear 5-year demand/capacity roadmap
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain and Commercial teams
- Champion non-productive stock management and industrial solution rollouts
- Support NBA with cost analysis, tooling, and investment planning
- Deliver SOP excellence—from cycle times to operator instructions
- Lead CIMS and VA/VE initiatives, and foster a culture of problem-solving
- Build and inspire a diverse, high-performing engineering team
- Communicate strategy and create a culture of engagement and ownership
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven background in Manufacturing Engineering and systems
- Strong leadership experience, ideally at manager level
- Skilled in cross-functional program leadership and strategic planning
- Excellent communication and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with capex planning, SIOP, MPS, and NBA preferred
- Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 and GKN Driveline processes
