We are currently looking for a Collections Supervisor who can guide their team members toward attaining delinquency and skip loss goals at Roadrunner’s Servicing Center in Irving, Texas. As a Team Leader, you are knowledgeable of collections procedures including compliance regulations, and state cure and extension requirements. Your goal as well as your team members is to determine each customer’s reason for delinquency, and to set up a commitment to bring the Powersports loan current. This is a tremendous opportunity to partner with us to build a best in class servicing organization for our growing portfolio of Powersports loans.
Specifically, you will:
- Work closely with your 10 collectors including coaching, completing ad hoc one on one portfolio inspections, assist with escalated collection calls, Mid-year and Annual Performance reviews.
- Review collector calls and provide guidance to ensure all are in compliance.
- Train and develop new hires.
- Review, assign, follow up on repossession assignments.
- Follow up on team members performing below the work group average which include the completion of written warnings and/or Performance Improvement Plans.
- Miscellaneous projects and/or duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED required (Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree is preferred), followed by five + years of collections and or servicing experience, ideally in auto finance or an installment loan portfolio.
- Must be able to multitask, coach, and develop collectors.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes casual overtime, some nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be honest with strong work ethic, unscheduled absences are rare, and must be punctual.
- Understanding of finance and lending; lease servicing experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel, along with the ability to master use of web-based system of record (Loan Pro) and available skip tools (training provided).
- Energetic, flexible, empathetic, with a positive attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure to meet daily and monthly goals.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills, as well as time management skills and extraordinary Decision-making abilities.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills along with excellent “people” skills and a strong customer service attitude; Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
