PLANER SETUP LEAD - WALDO, AR bei PotlatchDeltic

Maintain upkeep on planer machine and feed table and keep correct adjustments to maintain dimension in lumber.

The rate of pay for this position is $38.66 per hour.

Daily Job Duties:

• Maintain correct width and thickness on lumber.
• Must be able to read and use a caliper.
• Keep sharp knives in machine and operate overhead crane to manually perform maintenance lubrication on machine.
• Use rachet and torque wrench to change knives.
• Clear jams and hang ups in machine.
• Manually adjust with wrenches to machine.
• Work regularly scheduled shifts.
• Work scheduled overtime – as required.
• Clean up during down time using air wand, rake, and shovel.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work any shift
• Prior lumber mill experience preferred
• Able to work in a team environment
• Self-motivated, hard worker
• Must be a safety oriented individual
