Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Information System Security Officer to coordinate with various levels of an organization to ensure compliance with published security policies. This role involves conducting thorough cybersecurity vulnerability and threat analyses and providing critical support for cyber-incident-response by isolating affected assets, conducting initial investigations, and delivering timely status updates and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a proactive security professional with a strong background in ensuring compliance and responding to security incidents effectively.
Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Job Duties:
Coordinate with various levels of an organization to enact required security changes and ensure compliance with published policies.
Conduct cybersecurity vulnerability and threat analysis.
Support cyber-incident-response efforts by isolating potentially affected assets.
Perform initial investigation and data collection during a cyber incident.
Provide timely status updates and reporting throughout the incident-response process.
Serve as a key point of contact for all information system security matters.
Security Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret (S) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.
Experience Requirements: Requires eight (8) years of experience coordinating with various levels of an organization to enact required security changes, conducting cybersecurity vulnerability and threat analysis, and supporting cyber-incident-response.
Education Requirements: Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
Desired Skills / Qualifications: Experience with coordinating security changes and conducting vulnerability and threat analysis is highly desirable. Certifications such as CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, and CCISO are preferred.
Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA
Status: Full time
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
