🕒 Schedule: 40 hours per week | 8a - 4:30pm | Monday - Friday 

🏢 Department: Huron Valley PACE | Ypsilanti, MI

🎯 What You’ll Do in This Role:

As an Enrollment Phone Counselor, you’ll be the welcoming voice of our program—helping individuals, families, and community partners learn about the benefits of PACE and guiding them through the first steps of enrollment. Your work makes a direct impact by helping older adults access the care and support they need.


Primary Responsibilities:

📞 Be the First Point of Contact

  • Answer calls and questions from potential participants, families, and community referral sources.
  • Share program information in a clear, compassionate way, helping people understand requirements and eligibility.
  • Complete initial eligibility screenings and guide next steps for those who qualify.

🗂️ Keep Things Organized

  • Document conversations and follow-ups in our system to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Support the enrollment process by preparing and mailing packets, assisting with forms, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide general administrative support—like scheduling, filing, scanning, and keeping materials stocked.

🤝 Work as a Team

  • Partner closely with our enrollment and marketing teams to ensure each participant has a smooth, supportive experience.
  • Stay up to date on program updates and enrollment best practices to ensure we’re always providing the highest level of service.

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly, required.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
  • Experience in customer service or call center is highly desired. 
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
