Summary:
New York Edge is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Program Data & Communications Coordinator. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for monitoring/managing the databases and staff for an assigned cohort of youth development programs. In addition, they will process data requests and provide data entry for grades and data collection materials.
Schedule:
Full Time, Monday – Friday
This role requires you to be in-person.
Pay:
$40K-45K annually
Salary is commensurate with experience, skills, and education.
Essential Job Functions:
● Managing a community school data portfolio for the purposes of accurate reporting and collection of data
● Entering student level information into appropriate databases
● Troubleshoot activity and attendance data housed in appropriate databases with Community School Director
● Collection of Data Materials needed for meetings and presentation purposes
● Assist the Community Schools Director in meeting organizational needs and processing Data requests for
multiple online systems
● Data implantation aligns with New York Edge & Community School guidelines, mission & goals
● Performs audits to validate the accuracy of data maintained.
● Ensures compliance with local, state and institutional regulations.
● Designs, develops and implements outcome reporting.
● Maintains relevant spreadsheets, databases, and pulling of reports.
● Daily follow-up with Community School Director and school data team to ensure data tracking and compliance
● Obtain knowledge program goals and requirements for site, and work to ensure they are achieved
● Ensure accurate data deliverables with meeting deadlines
● Manage and document workflow using a customer relationship management system and updating operational data, ensuring all parties involved have high visibility on the status of ongoing clients and data
● Learn and understand the business issues and data challenges of the industry and PBM organizations.
● Assist with ongoing quality control and identifying underlying issues
● Work collaboratively with many different teams across the organization
● Over time the candidate will develop skills in: Healthcare data processes, Salesforce, ATS, HeatMap, Kinvolved, Excel and other data manipulation tools, PQMT, and Project Management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
● 2-4 years of online data experience a plus
● An understanding of Department of Education database systems; preferred
● Computer literacy
● Detailed Oriented
● Timely completion of tasks
● Microsoft Excel, Word, and other programs such as google docs
● Effective written/verbal communication Good interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication
● Technical mindset with an attention to detail and experience in process documentation
● Experience working with and manipulating data files; Analyzing data with Excel; Taking ownership of projects and seeing them through
● May be required to walk up and down stairs.
● May have to lift or move objects/materials as needed.
● Work is performed mostly within a New York City Public School but may be required to interact with the community at-large during trips or events.
The Program Data & Communications Coordinator will be required to report to the school building and interact with the Community School Director, Data Manager, Data Coordinators, Students, Staff , School Administration, Parents, and Students.
At the time of offer and acceptance, the job requires safety and security clearances through the Department of Education and Department of Health.
