Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently met.
  • Drive a culture of safety, ensuring full compliance with OSHA and Hermeus safety requirements; stop unsafe operations when necessary. 
  • Oversee work order execution, kitting, and build processes with strong focus on quality and traceability. 
  • Plan, schedule, and assign work to ensure production milestones are achieved on time. 
  • Train, mentor, and coach technicians to build capability and maintain a high-performing team. 
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and EHS to resolve issues, improve processes, and implement corrective actions. 
  • Proactively identify labor, material, and asset constraints; escalate and coordinate support to maintain production flow. 
  • Lead and track continuous improvement initiatives, targeting safety, efficiency, and quality enhancements on a quarterly basis. 
  • Provide clear, direct communication of goals, expectations, and performance feedback to team members. 
  • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and collaboration across production teams. 


  • Basic Qualifications
  • Hands-on production leadership experience on complex integrated vehicle assemblies. 
  • 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing. 
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and shop safety practices. 
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with a track record of building strong, engaged teams. 


  • Additional Qualifications
  • Prior experience supervising technicians in aerospace or high-performance production environments. 
  • Knowledge of aerospace hardware assembly, tooling, and/or test operations. 
  • Experience developing and leading technical or safety training programs. 
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement tools. 
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve production challenges. 
  • High integrity and accountability—committed to doing the right thing, even under pressure 
  • Willingness to travel to support hardware and flight tests.
