Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Parts and Supplies Account Manager is To meet or exceed the assigned Mingledorff’s objectives for a designated territory and to promote directly and/or indirectly, the sales of the Company’s products and services, with the overall best interests of the Company. The focus of concentration will be around Parts and Supplies to this customer base.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed annual sales goal as assigned by After Market Sales Manager (ASM). 
    • Make direct sales calls to insure growing sales and profitability of the Parts and Supplies business segment. Process includes quoting, ordering and following up on orders.
  • Conduct sales calls to mechanical contractors, school boards, universities, apartment groups, residential dealers and other potential customers outside the normal dealer base as assigned by ASM (s).  
  • Ensure Parts & Supplies price book and manuals are up-to-date.
  • Partner with Aftermarket Manager and Marketing department to enhance Mingledorff’s Parts Preseason programs.
  • Work closely with Mingledorff’s inventory department to stock adequate SKU’s to produce budgeted Turns/Earns of Parts & Supplies products.
  • Educate and train individual Distribution Center Managers to determine local stocking levels of SKU’s to build and support client needs.
  • Build relationships with clients to increase their Parts & Supplies purchases from the Company.
  • Attend at least 16 hours of business or product training annually.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor’s products and services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Technical School Diploma in HVAC/R or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business
  • 5 years HVAC/R or Refrigeration experience
  • 5 years Inside or Outside Sales experience
  • Customer Service experience
  • Proven time management and organization skills

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 50% travel to customers, branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
