Conviva is an Operational Data Platform with multiple solutions, including a new focus on monitoring and improving Agentic AI systems in production.

By analyzing client-side session data from all users as it happens, Conviva reveals not just what happened, but how long it lasted and why it mattered—surfacing behavioral and experience patterns that give teams the context to retain more customers, resolve issues faster, and grow revenue. 

We’re hiring a hands-on outbound product leader to own the external face of product—category narrative, solution packaging, launches, competitive strategy, and field enablement—while partnering tightly with inbound PM, Sales, PMM, and Engineering. 

You’ll be the tip of the spear: translating complex, stateful telemetry and agent performance analytics into clear customer value, winning deals with enterprise buyers, and shaping a category that’s moving fast. 

 

What Success Will Look Like: 

  • Own the narrative & category. Define positioning, messaging, proof points, and ROI stories for Agentic AI performance monitoring and our broader real-time analytics platform. 
  • Drive launches end-to-end. Orchestrate cross-functional GTM (pricing/packaging, docs, enablement, release comms, customer references) for new capabilities and solutions. 
  • Partner with Sales & CS. Build field playbooks, discovery guides, talk tracks, and objection handling; join customer calls and executive briefings; unlock lighthouse wins. 
  • Fuel demand with product proof. Lead creation of demos, benchmarks, “why we win” content, POCs, and customer narratives tying agent behavior to real outcomes. 
  • Shape the roadmap from the market back. Bring crisp customer insights, competitive intel, and win/loss data into prioritization with inbound PM and Engineering. 
  • Own competitive & analyst strategy. Track the landscape, maintain compete assets, brief analysts, and position Conviva clearly vs. observability, analytics, and AI tooling. 
  • Scale what works. Build repeatable GTM motions with PMM, RevOps, and Partners; instrument adoption, attach, and pipeline influence; iterate quickly. 

 

Early Wins and Priorities (first 90 days) 

  • 30 days: Deep understanding of product, ICPs, key use cases; draft the external narrative and a field discovery guide. 
  • 60 days: Ship one meaningful launch or solution refresh with pricing/packaging; deliver sales enablement; join strategic customer meetings. 
  • 90 days: Measurable impact on pipeline (influenced opportunities, improved win rate in target plays); clear compete strategy and a 2-quarter launch calendar. 

 

Who You Are and What You've Done:  

  • Startup scale experience. Direct, meaningful time at venture-backed companies; ideally exposure to the journey from early product-market fit toward $100M+ ARR. 
  • Director/Sr Director track (not exec-only). 8–12+ years in product, including 3–5+ years leading outbound product work (PM with strong PMM interface). 
  • Enterprise SaaS & sales-assisted GTM. Comfortable partnering with AEs/SEs on complex deals, security/procurement cycles, and executive value narratives. 
  • Technical depth with AI/data. Fluency in AI/LLM/agent concepts, observability/telemetry, product analytics, or data platforms; able to dive into APIs and architectures. 
  • Clear, crisp storytelling. You can turn stateful, real-time data into outcomes and dollars—on stage, in a deck, or in a heated exec room. 
  • Evidence of staying power. Multi-year tenures and shipped outcomes (e.g., launches that moved adoption, attach, or revenue). 

 

Nice to have 

  • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI systems (evaluation, tracing, safety/quality, production optimization). 
  • Prior responsibility for pricing & packaging of platform products. 
  • Public speaking, analyst briefings, or thought-leadership in AI, data, or observability. 
  • Comfortable with Lightboard-level demos and “open the debugger” customer conversations. 

 

How we’ll partner 

  • You’ll work daily with Inbound PM, PMM, Sales, and Engineering; weekly with Execs on narrative, roadmap trade-offs, and strategic accounts. 
  • Expect high visibility, real ownership, and a bias to ship. 

 

Work setup & location 

  • SF Bay Area only. In-person collaboration in SF/Peninsula needed for launches, roadmap reviews, and customer sessions. 
  • Some travel for customers, conferences, and analyst briefings. 

 

The expected salary range for this full-time position is $225,000 - $275,000 + equity + benefits. Compensation is determined by numerous factors such as your qualifications, experience, domain expertise, and relevant education or training.
